These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between ALOK Studio (the "Company") and users, as well as the conditions and procedures of use, in connection with the foreign-language learning service "POPOLING" (the "Service") provided by the Company.
① "User" means a member or non-member (guest) who uses the Service under these Terms.
② "Guest" means a person who uses the Service by device identifier without a separate sign-up procedure.
③ "Paid Service" means additional features such as subscriptions that the Company provides for a fee.
① These Terms take effect by being posted on the Service screen.
② The Company may amend these Terms within the scope not violating applicable laws, and shall give prior notice specifying the effective date and reason upon amendment.
① The Company provides learning content such as words, sentences, grammar, and conversations, along with AI-based learning features.
② The Company may modify, add to, or change content and features to improve the quality of the Service.
① A guest user's learning records are stored based on the device identifier and may not be recoverable when the device is changed or data is deleted.
② The user is responsible for managing their own account and device.
① Payment for Paid Services is made through the payment methods of each marketplace, such as the Apple App Store and Google Play.
② Subscriptions renew automatically according to each marketplace's policy unless canceled.
Withdrawal of subscription and refunds for Paid Services follow applicable laws and the refund policy of the marketplace where payment was made (App Store / Google Play).
Users must not use the Service by improper means, infringe the rights of others, or reproduce or distribute content without authorization.
The copyright of learning content, images, audio, and software included in the Service belongs to the Company or the rightful holder, and users may not use it for purposes other than private learning.
The Company may temporarily suspend the Service in unavoidable cases such as system maintenance or replacement, communication failure, or natural disaster.
The Company is not liable, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for damages arising from causes attributable to the user or beyond the Company's control.
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes related to use of the Service may be brought before the competent court.
These Terms take effect on 2026-06-19.
