1. Two friends are decorating an apartment a few hours before a surprise birthday party.

2. Friend

   야, 드디어 시작이다! 오늘 파티 완벽하게 준비하려고 아침부터 엄청 바빴어.

   Hey, it's finally starting! I've been super busy since morning trying to get this party perfect.

3. You

   고생했어. 나는 풍선이랑 장식 사려고 마트 세 군데나 돌았잖아.

   Good work. I went around three different marts just to buy balloons and decorations.

4. Friend

   진짜? 그래서 이렇게 예쁜 걸 골랐구나. 근데 손님 몇 명 초대했어?

   Really? So that's why you picked such pretty ones. Anyway, how many guests did you invite?

5. You

   열 명쯤. 다 같이 놀라게 해 주려고 일부러 도착 시간도 맞췄어.

   About ten. I even coordinated their arrival times on purpose so we could all surprise her together.

   오, 센스 있다! 그럼 케이크는? 내가 주문하려고 했는데 깜빡했어.

   Oh, nice thinking! What about the cake? I was going to order it but I totally forgot.

   It's okay, don't worry. I already called earlier to reserve a chocolate cake.

   역시 너밖에 없다. 그럼 나는 음료수랑 안주 좀 챙길게.

    Of course. I just casually told her to come over for dinner so she wouldn't suspect anything.
