1. It's past midnight. A patient walks into a hospital emergency room clutching their stomach, and a doctor greets them at the desk.

2. Doctor

   안녕하세요, 어디가 불편하셔서 오셨어요?

   Hello, what brings you in tonight?

3. Patient

   아까 저녁부터 배가 너무 아파서요. 좀 봐 주세요.

   My stomach has been hurting really badly since dinner. Please take a look.

4. Doctor

   언제부터 그러셨는지 조금 더 자세히 말씀해 주세요.

   Please tell me in a bit more detail when it started.

5. Patient

   저녁 일곱 시쯤부터요. 처음엔 괜찮았는데 점점 심해졌어요.

   Around seven in the evening. It was fine at first, but it kept getting worse.

6. Doctor

   열도 있으세요? 다른 증상은 없으세요?

   Do you have a fever too? Any other symptoms?

7. Patient

   네, 열도 좀 나고 속이 메스꺼워요. 두 번 토했어요.

   Yes, I have a bit of a fever and feel nauseous. I threw up twice.

8. Doctor

   알겠습니다. 여기 침대에 잠깐 누워 주세요. 배 좀 만져 볼게요.

   I see. Please lie down on the bed here for a moment. Let me feel your stomach.

9. Patient

   네, 여기 오른쪽 아래가 특히 아파요.

   Okay, it especially hurts here on the lower right.

10. Doctor

    제가 누를 때 아프면 바로 말해 주세요. 여기 누르면 어떠세요?

    Tell me right away if it hurts when I press. How does it feel here?

11. Patient

    아, 거기 진짜 아파요! 살살 눌러 주세요.

    Ah, that really hurts! Please press gently.

12. Doctor

    맹장염이 의심되네요. 정확히 확인해야 하니까 피 검사랑 CT를 좀 찍어 볼게요.

    This looks like it could be appendicitis. To be sure, we'll do a blood test and a CT scan.

13. Patient

    그럼 저 수술해야 하나요? 걱정돼요. 좀 설명해 주세요.

    Does that mean I'll need surgery? I'm worried. Please explain it to me.

    We'll decide after seeing the test results. For now I'll prescribe some painkillers, so please don't worry too much.
