   Good morning! Is this your first day in this classroom?

   おはようございます！今日がこの教室で初めての日ですか？

3. 生徒

   Yes, it is. Um, is there a spare textbook I can use? I forgot mine at home.

   はい、そうです。あの、使える予備の教科書はありますか？家に忘れてしまって。

4. 職員

   Don't worry. There are some extra textbooks on the shelf in the corner.

5. 生徒

   Oh, great. Is there a pen I can borrow too? I only have a pencil.

   Sure. There's a box of pens next to the whiteboard. Take one.

   Yes, there are two empty seats over there. You can pick either one.

   Perfect. Is there a clock in the room? I don't see one.

    There isn't a clock on the wall, but there's one on the teacher's desk.

    I see. Is there anything else I should know before class starts?

    There's a schedule on the board. Just check it every morning.
